Brief: To design, manufacture and install a complete illuminated signage package, including shopfront signage, projecting signage and an internal illuminated feature wall.

The Project Brief

MOIDA K-Beauty, a contemporary Korean beauty retailer, required a premium signage solution for its new store at Battersea Shopping Centre, London. Working in partnership with Bluecrow Projects Ltd, the objective was to create an eye-catching and cohesive signage scheme that reflected the brand’s modern identity while maximising visibility within one of London’s busiest retail destinations.

The scope included illuminated shopfront letters, an upgraded projecting sign and a bespoke illuminated internal feature sign designed to enhance both the customer experience and overall brand presence.

The Challenge

The project required multiple signage elements to work together seamlessly while maintaining a premium and consistent brand appearance. The shopfront signage needed to stand out within a competitive retail environment, attracting customers from across the shopping centre.

Additionally, the projecting sign had to provide clear visibility from multiple approaches, while the internal illuminated feature wall needed to act as a focal point without overpowering the carefully designed retail environment. Installation also required careful planning to minimise disruption within a busy Central London shopping centre.

How We Helped

Image Technique delivered a complete end-to-end signage solution, managing the project from site survey through manufacture and installation.

For the external branding, we produced face-illuminated acrylic letters mounted to the existing fascia, creating a bold and highly visible shopfront presence. We also refurbished the existing projecting sign with new illuminated panels and precision-cut acrylic lettering to improve visibility from multiple directions.

Inside the store, we manufactured and installed a bespoke illuminated feature sign incorporating the MOIDA branding and decorative elements, creating a striking focal point that enhances the customer journey and reinforces brand identity.

Our experienced project team coordinated all survey, manufacturing, logistics and installation activities to ensure a smooth and efficient delivery programme.

Outcomes

The completed signage package successfully delivers a clean, modern aesthetic that aligns perfectly with MOIDA’s K-beauty branding.

The illuminated shopfront signage creates a strong retail presence, helping the store stand out within a high-footfall shopping environment. The upgraded projecting sign improves visibility from key customer routes, while the illuminated internal feature wall provides a memorable in-store experience.
